How it works
- Choose a card type and enter the title, name and up to three details, such as a member number or expiry date.
- Add your logo and photo and pick background, text and label colors. The preview shows roughly how the card will look in Wallet.
- Add an optional QR code with a member number, ticket code or link, so the card can be scanned.
- Download the pass on your iPhone® and tap Add to save it to Wallet. Downloads open soon.

ID cards

Good to know
- A Wallet card made here is not a government-issued ID. We do not make cards that imitate driver's licenses, passports, travel documents or payment cards.
- Cards do not update by themselves after you add them.
- Apple Wallet passes are for iPhone and Apple Watch.

What is an Apple Wallet card?
An Apple Wallet card (also called a pass) is a digital card stored in the Wallet app on iPhone and Apple Watch. It is a small .pkpass file that shows your details, colors, logo and an optional QR code, and you can open it from the lock screen when you need it.
Can I add my ID card to Apple Wallet?
You can make a Wallet card for an organization ID such as an employee, staff, student, volunteer or member ID, with your name, photo, logo and ID number. It is not a government-issued ID and cannot replace a driver's license, state ID or passport. Adding an official state ID to Wallet is a separate Apple feature offered by participating states, and we do not make cards that imitate official documents.
How do I add a membership or loyalty card to Apple Wallet?
Choose Membership or Loyalty in the builder, add your logo, member or card number and colors, and put the number in the QR code field so it can be scanned at the desk or counter. Once downloads are open, you open the finished pass on your iPhone and tap Add.
Can I put my business card in Apple Wallet?
Yes. Choose Business card, put your name on the front and add details such as phone, email and website. A QR code with your website or contact link is handy for sharing in person.
Is the Apple Wallet card maker available now?
The card designer and live preview work now. Pass downloads open once our Apple Wallet setup is complete. Leave your email on this page and we will send you one email when downloads open.
Do I need an app to add a card to Apple Wallet?
No. Wallet is built into iPhone. Open the pass file in Safari on your iPhone and tap Add. If you are on a computer, open this page on your iPhone instead.
Does it work on Android?
Apple Wallet passes are made for iPhone and Apple Watch. We do not offer Google Wallet passes at this time.
Will my Wallet card update automatically?
No. Cards made here do not change after you add them. To change a detail, make a new pass, add it, and delete the old one from Wallet.
What happens to the photo and logo I upload?
While you design, your photo and logo stay in your browser and are not uploaded. When you create a pass, they are sent to our server only to build the pass file and are not kept. The finished pass file is deleted from our server after 15 minutes.
