Need ID cards fast? Here is how quickly we can move

Same Day ID was built for deadlines: a new hire starting tomorrow, a lost badge before a site visit, credentials for an event that is days away. Every order placed by 1 PM Eastern on a business day is printed and dispatched the same day. Rush ID card printing gives you two more levers on top of that: Rush Processing to move your order to the front of our print queue, and expedited shipping so the cards reach you sooner.

The three things that decide your delivery date

• When you order. The same-day cutoff is 1 PM ET on business days (Monday to Friday, excluding federal holidays). The order page shows a live countdown to the cutoff. Orders after the cutoff are printed the next business morning.
• Where you sit in the queue. Add Rush Processing for $10.00 per order and your order moves to the front of our print queue.
• How it ships. Free postage-stamp mail is the slowest and has no tracking. Priority Tracking, 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air get cards to you faster, with the price shown at checkout.

Rush shipping options and prices

We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays or federal holidays, so an order placed on a Friday after the cutoff is printed and dispatched on the next business day. The 2nd Day Air Saturday option is for delivery on a Saturday, not for weekend dispatch.

How to place a rush order without delays

Most delays on urgent orders come from the artwork, not the printer. To keep a rush order moving:

• Upload print-ready JPG, PNG or PDF files for the front and, if needed, the back. No account is required.
• Double-check names, titles and photos before you pay. We print exactly what you send.
• Only add the $5.00 Digital Proof if you can approve it quickly. A proof must be approved before we print, so a late approval can push your order past the cutoff.
• If each card has a different design, upload them all on the order page or email them to Help@SameDayID.com right after ordering.
• Choose the shipping speed that matches the date you actually need the cards, then add Rush Processing if the order must be at the front of the queue.

Card pricing for rush orders

Rush orders use the same card prices as every other order. Rush Processing and shipping are added once per order, not per card.

Florida sales tax of 6.5% is added at checkout. Prices are taken from our live order page; the order page always shows the current total before you pay.

Example: one single-sided card with a slot punch, Rush Processing and Next Day Air is $10.00 + $1.00 + $10.00 + $50.00 = $71.00 before 6.5% Florida sales tax on the taxable items. The order page shows the exact total before you pay.

Rush orders for teams and events
